Our first deadline is to file for the city permits and pay for the city portion of the parade by May 10, 2012.  The city needs money for the permits and the parade has to pay for the lost revenue from the parking meters on the route, pay to re-route the buses around the route, the Police Officers that help out at each of the intersections and for cleaning up the streets after the parade is over, among other things.

Right now, as of Saturday morning, April 28th we have $2000 of the $25000 (8%!) needed to put on the parade.  We are off to a great start, but we stil need your help to make sure the parade happens!
